The Future of Alternative Vehicles

Toyota recently managing to get a hydrogen-powered car past the 300 miles per tank mark and the Nissan Leaf seeing its sales go past the 10,000 mark has showcased that the market for alternative fuel vehicles continues to grow in popularity.

A new infographic by British motor retailer Motorparks has charted the recent success of both hydrogen- and electric-powered vehicles, in order to further demonstrate that petrol and diesel are far from the only choices people have when purchasing their next car today.

You may also be surprised to hear that while there has been a lot of talk about electric and hydrogen cars recently, both concepts were actually first tested back in the early 1800s.
